How It Works:
Processing credit cards online requires a Merchant Account that enables sellers of accepting various types of credit cards online. The Process:
- The site collects credit card information from the user.
- The site creates a connection to the xAuthorize component.
- The site passes the transaction information to the component.
- xAuthorize creates a secure (SSL) connection to the processing server..
- xAuthorize sends the transaction information to the processing server.
- xAuthorize receives a reply from the processing server.
- Response is relayed back to the site for appropriate action.
